Sunday's SermonJuly 11, 2010 --- If you go looking for a new car, you will probably notice a lot of features that are available which fall into the category of "optional." Sometimes, there are things required of us which fall into the category of "optional." On the contrary, some things are simply mandatory. As we examine the Word of God, it ought to be evident to us that if we desire to receive the Crown of Life, some things are not optional. Just us this Sunday as we look at the biblical concept of confession and its place in the life of the child of God.

What's New!
Come worship with us in 2010! We will be delighted to have you as our honored guest. We are a Bible-centered church with Bible-centered worship. A question we frequently ask is, "What does the Bible have to say?" It is our aim that when you visit us that you find all things in accordance to the will of God.
Georgia MissionsThe Home Bible Study by Mail Correspondence Courses are a work of Georgia Missions and are designed to teach the gospel to a lost and dying world. Course One is entitled Beginning Bible Studies and contains fifteen lessons which cover such subjects as the nature of God, Biblical authority, a survey of the two covenants in the Old and New Testaments, the nature of sin, the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ, the way of salvation, the Lord's church, the Resurrection, the Final Judgment, heaven, and hell. This initial course points to the necessary Scriptures which answer mankind's most pressing need; i.e., what one must do in order to be saved. There are three additional courses which are available in this series. Course Two, Intermediate Bible Studies, delves further into some of the subjects covered in Course One. Course Three, The Church of the Bible, focuses on the Lord's church, including its organization, worship, and work. Course Four, Advanced Bible Studies, goes even deeper into the subjects taught in the first three courses. There is a fifth course entitled Survey of the Old Testament which is currently being reviewed and will soon be placed into the curriculum. The Georgia Missions program is under the oversight of the elders of the Airport Church of Christ in Valdosta, Georgia. All correspondence course material and postage is offered free of charge and is derived from free will offerings by members of the Lord's church. This ministry is in keeping with the Lord's Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 where He commanded His apostles to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Plans are in the works to include an online version of this study program. Until that can be accomplished, we will continue to rely upon the printed version. If you are interested in enrolling in this free study course, please send us an email with your name and address. It will be coming in the mail to you shortly.
